**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our crucial support team as an Activity and Lifestyle Assistant at Nellie Melba Retirement Village** **in Wheelers Hill. This is a permanent part time position working Monday to Friday 0930 - 1600 in our Care Centre, working across a different unit each day offering pre-planned activities**. **This role is offering relief for our current Activities and Lifestyle Coordinators.

We love when our lifestyle assistants use their creative flair to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents. This is a diverse role, and no two days are the same You will:

- Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
- Work closely with the activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothly
- Run our resident bingo - it sure is a fan favourite
- Assist in the delivery of various workshops, social and craft activities. Anything from bake offs, fashion shows and even floristry demonstrations
- Accompany residents on various outings

**About You**

- Strong empathy
- Outstanding communication skills
- A creative flair you're not afraid to let shine
- Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is required
