**The Role**

Our inspiring Australian Design client is looking for an ambitious and passionate Quality Controller join the dynamic team in Brisbane.
- Known for its mínimalist and relaxed aesthetic, the brand effortlessly translates designer luxury into sophisticated and timeless pieces.
- The Quality Controller will perform extensive sample evaluation to ensure the product consistently meets high standards. This exciting role requires an impeccable attention to detail and level of accuracy.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a QC, GT or Production role
- Previous experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of garment construction
- Understanding of measurement specs
- A strong collaborator with the ability to build strong team connections
- High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workflow and multi-task
- Agile and positive, team player
- Passion for fashion & production and a strong willingness to learn

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure quality, colour, fit and labelling is in-line with standard and approval.
- Approve all shipment samples and ensure they are aligned with tech pack and approved pre-production
- Communicate approvals to supplier for all shipment samples
- Ensure you are following up delivery of shipment samples in line with critical path
- Communication & follow up with suppliers
- Review final freight rates, communicating any discrepancies or variations to cost to margin to buying team
- Upload sample photos to sample boards
- Analyse & test new fabrics
- Create and ensure all care instructions are finalised and manage care labels ensuring accuracy
- Coordinate and record shipment sample dates and approval to ship
- Support the design & production teams
