Our expertise and infrastructure have allowed us to manufacture 100% rPET bottles and Australia's first 50% recycled plastic milk bottle. An independent comparative lifecycle analysis shows Visy’s recycled plastic slashes water and greenhouse gas emissions by nearly two thirds.

**The Role**:
Based in Smithfield, this role reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of the reliability team, supporting production of our busy plant.

**Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime
- Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines
- Assist in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs
- Maintain stock levels of spare parts to assist in making components for repairs.
- Update and maintain data records on works carried out
- Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.

**What You Will Bring to the Team**:

- Have a Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Hold LF forklift ticket and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.
- Have Welding experience.
- Previous maintenance experience in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
- Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
- Ready to make a difference? and be a key player in shaping our future_
