We have an excellent fulltime permanent opportunity for an experienced maintenance fitter with a leading Australian manufacturer. You'll be joining a rapidly growing and highly successful Aussie business located in Alexandria. 

As the newest team member, you'll report to the maintenance manager and play a key role in ensuring machinery and equipment are available to meet production targets.
About You

  • Trade qualification and significant experienced as a maintenance fitter within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to safely perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production machinery, ancillary equipment, and facilities.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices.
  • A professional approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Work closely with contractors and internal teams to coordinate outsourced and in-house maintenance
  • Willingness to support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operations.
  • Experienced with (HACCP) requirements highly desirable.
