**Job Description** About the Role**
Campos Coffee is searching for an experienced Service Technician with a positive and can-do attitude to join our team. Campos Coffee manages and maintains predominately La Marzocco espresso equipment and Mazzer Grinders. Service Technicians are either based in the technical workshop or are mobile to carry out a preventative maintenance schedule, as well as respond to service calls within Campos Coffee flagship cafes, and Campos Coffee client outlets.
With a technical knowledge of coffee equipment, the Campos Coffee Service Technician uses a combination of experience, expertise, and logic to solve problems faced with a variety of equipment. Reporting to the Service Manager, as the Service Technician, you will carry out the following tasks:
- Service new and existing coffee equipment.
- Fault finding and repair of coffee equipment.
- Conduct tests to resolve problems.
- Follow the system of receiving, maintaining and dispatching equipment through the technical workshop.
- Maintain reports for services performed on machinery to be generated upon completion of work.
- Order spare parts, lodge paperwork, and maintain the inventory level.
- Complete check of machines and accessories before delivery/installation and perform routine inventory review of spare parts before conducting installations.
- Learn all designs, functions, dismantling techniques, and repair methods of all La Marzocco Espresso machines and assorted Grinders.
- Assist with warehouse duties as required.
**Qualifications** About You**:
- Technical knowledge of coffee equipment.
- LVR certificate, with a minimum restricted electrical license.
- Passionate and willing to have a hands-on approach to all tasks.
- Strong communication skills (both in person and in writing) while interacting with individuals with a range of technical understanding.
- Self-starter and self-motivator, driven by results and success - organisational, initiative, and decision-making skills essential.
- Time management is essential; therefore, the ability to multitask and deliver consistently with accuracy in a fast-paced environment is paramount.
- Must be able to function independently as well as part of the team.
