**Role Title**: Motor Claims Consultant
**Hours**: 9am - 5:30pm
**Salary**: $58,000 plus 13% super
**Location**: Remote, Newcastle
**Contract**: Permanent

**Your new company**
We have full-time and part-time positions available for claims consultants to join our Motor Claims department in Newcastle. This role is predominantly working from home with the requirement to come into the office 1 day a month or if you’re having IT issues.

Joining an existing team, you will be responsible for the management of claims post lodgement until the closure stage of the Motor Claims process. This role will see you managing claims in a professional and proactive manner whilst ensuring that legislative and policy requirements are followed.

**Your new role**
- Managing inbound and outbound calls within a high-volume call centre environment.
- Working towards KPIs to deliver a high standard of claims management that results in effective outcomes.
- Working autonomously and in a high achieving team environment.
- Develop and maintain a consistent approach in your decision making, ensuring a fair and professional outcome for our stakeholders.
- Interacting with customers over the phone as well as online via our future live Webchat function.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrate strong technical experience in the insurance claims industry is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of customer service and passion for helping people in times of need.
- Efficient problem-solving skills.
- Confident in using multiple different systems and platforms simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
- Highly motivated, reliable and demonstrated decision-making skills.
