Our extrusion team is critical to our Entapack / Dandenong Plant meeting our customers requirements.
Working on our night shift (Monday to Friday, 11.00pm to 07.00am), our extrusion team operate manufacturing machinery to support to our production lines.
This is an all-rounder role and we’re looking for someone who can work as a team and roll their sleeves up to make a real difference to our site. Key Job Responsibilities:
**The successful applicant will be responsible for**:
Working in a safe manner and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Operate our extrusion machinery, including such as start-up / change overs / shutdowns ect.
Be able and prepared to provide general production support as required.
Adhering to Engineering ISO9002 Quality Assurance system and Food Environmental Policy requirements. About The Person:
To be successful in this role, the successful applicant will have the following characteristics:
Experience as a plastics extruder operator in a production / manufacturing environment. Food industry exposure would be an advantage.
Good mechanical aptitude, as this role will be operating machinery.
Have a current forklift license and experience.
Flexibility and ability to perform all production tasks, which includes packing.
A can-do attitude and the ability to work in a team or unsupervised.
Have good fault finding and communication skills.
Able to work with a focus on Health, Safety and Quality.
Have a good understanding in Lean & TPM.
