The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) is currently seeking a Principal Support and Liaison Specialist to join our team.

**About Us**

This is an important new role within SIRA, which is focused on improving the support and guidance we provide to families and other close relations when there has been a road fatality.

This role sits more specifically within the new Specialist Support and Liaison team within CTP Assist, which is part of the Customer Service & Operations directorate.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Liaising with families to provide specialist information in relation to initial and ongoing support following a road related fatality. This includes referrals to trauma support, assistance with lodging a claim and contacting the insurer to improve the customer experience in the period prior to claim lodgement.
- Overseeing the development of specialist resources, tools and processes to enable effective resource optimisation for fatality related CTP Assist advice services.
- Establish and maintain strong internal relationships to influence and facilitate change to improve processes and systems relating to claims involving a fatality so that processes and systems are fit for purpose.
- Providing specialist advice to SIRA leadership and frontline teams on dealing with sensitive claims, including fatalities to help uplift capability and improve outcomes for customers.
- Monitoring emerging issues and trends in trauma and grief support to enhance service delivery
