**Wilson Security** is seeking an experienced
**Resources Sector Manager **to join their vibrant team.

You will support the achievement of Wilson Secuirty’s vision and the Business Unit Strategy by managing the overall operation and performance of designated sites and subordinates within the portfolio and as allocated by the States Operations Manager.

You will provide visible leadership, direction and issue resolution at all levels of service, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness while serving clients within budget constraints are maintained at a consistent level.

You are an important conduit for information, reporting and implementation of direction to and from internal stakeholders.

**Key Accountabilities**: (to name a few)

Contract Performance
- Manage the performance and presentation of each designated site in accordance with contractual and budgetary obligation
- Continuously review individual contracts and their performance and develop priority action plans to ensure compliance and performance
- Analyse and plan for future site requirements, and providing recommendations

Financial & Reporting
- Ensure the delivery of scope of work within budgetary timeframes
- Manage P&L and ensure a high level of accuracy with reporting
- Identify and address variance in budget in matters of resourcing, gross revenue, cost control

Leadership
- Advise staff of company policy, procedures and best practice and conduct team talks as required to create staff awareness
- Provide visible leadership on site and allocate and communicate KPI’s and expectations to direct staff members
- Monitor and review the performance of staff members and align to expected standard following a fair performance management process in a timely manner as required

Workforce Planning
- Manage the resourcing and labour utilisation to ensure staffing levels adequate meet contract obligations
- Be responsible for and actively participate in the recruitment and selection of new staff members to ensure adequate staff levels
- Maintain an appropriate relief pool of casual staff to support all contract fluctuations

WHS
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and State and Federal legislative requirements
- Demonstrates and drive safe behaviours by giving clear direction, setting and enforcing standards and delivering a consistent message
- Implement and follow safe systems of work by conducting risk assessments and ensure staff members do the same

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Significant experience in a multi site operational environment relating to the security industry
- Experience in analysing and cost control over a multi site operation
- Significant experience in a leadership and client management role
- Significant experience in delegation, project management and managing deadlines
- Demonstrated evidence of facilitating clear communication and direction to staff at all levels
- Strong time management skills
- Demonstrated competence in situation analysis and decision making
- Detailed understanding of rostering, cost analysis and resource control
- Experience in performance management over multi site, multi discipline business unties (including appraisal counselling and termination)
- A thorough understanding of basic principles of HR management
- Advance level of computer literacy (especially Excel, MS Word and Workbuddy)
- Strong level of numerate and literate competency
- Detailed understanding of legislative requirement in relation to WHS, IR, EEO
- Experience in operating in an environment accommodating a variety of cultural and moral opinions

**Qualifications**:

- Years experience in client / account management roles
- Years experience within the security industry delivering similar outcomes
- Western Australian open drivers licence
- Western Australian security licence
- Class 1AC and Class 2ABD security licence
- Diploma / Cert IV in Security Risk Management
- Diploma / Cert IV in WHS
- Cert IV in Training and Development and advantage
- Tertiary qualification in a business/commerce related discipline would be advantageous
