Chiropractic Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Chiropractic Assistant with over 5 years of experience to join our growing team as a Team Leader.

**Role Overview**:
You will be the key point of contact for both patients and our Chiropractors, ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the front desk and contributing to a positive team culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and support chiropractors.
- Handle administrative tasks, including managing appointments, patient records, and processing billing.
- Ensure efficient patient flow and excellent customer service at the front desk.
- Maintain accurate patient files and assist with insurance and billing inquiries.
- Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and meets operational standards.
- Assist in the implementation of clinic policies and procedures.
- Handle any escalated issues or concerns with professionalism and care.

**Medical reception duties**
- Greeting, checking in, and scheduling patients.
- Managing forms, referrals, payments, and HICAPS transactions.
- Ensuring clinic cleanliness and assisting with opening/closing procedures.
- Communicating with practitioners and admin via Microsoft Teams.
- Scanning, filing, and organizing intake forms and documents.
- Preparing rooms for practitioners and supporting with procedures.
- Assisting in implementing and supporting clinic procedures.
- Providing occasional executive assistance and completing assigned tasks promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chiropractic Assistant.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm and friendly demeanour and bubbly but professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- Proficient with clinic management software (Cliniko experience advantageous) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in a chiropractic or healthcare setting is preferred.
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of the practice.
- Experience with social media content creation and an interest in marketing (highly advantageous).
- Ability to report to Practice Manager
- Ability to go between our East Perth & West Perth locations

Our shifts are as follows.

**Morning (7:30am-1pm)**
**Afternoon (12.00pm-6.30pm)**
**Sat and Sunday mornings on a rotating roster (Paid at award rates) if required.**

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 32 per week
