**What’s the story?**

We are looking for a full time Customer Sales Consultant to join the team in our Southport QLD store. In this role, you will deliver better health to our customers and to Australia through our provision of health services, our health system advocacy, and our work in the community.

**The role**:
As a member of a strong and supportive team that puts our customers first, your role involves reaching sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. By showing heart and empathy, you will contribute towards Medibank’s growth and deliver our purpose “Better Health for Better Lives”.

Whilst you will be based in the retail store, you will service customers face-face as well as via our virtual channels (phone and webchat), so Contact Centre experience (or similar) is advantageous.

**Your every day**:
Not every day at Medibank will be the same and being adaptable is the key to success. Some of the best elements of this role include:

- Based at Pacific fair Broadbeach and then the mobile kiosk that moves every 3 months to different locations on the gold coast
- Working locations will vary between the store, the kiosk, community events and there will be some opportunity to work from home
- Assisting customers in store and also through our virtual channels (call centre line and messaging platform)
- Finding sales opportunities, while building rapport with our community and making sure you are providing solutions to our customers’ needs.
- Engaging and interacting with our members in-person, over the phone and online.
- Opportunity to make health insurance simple and easy for our customers to understand.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our store culture, that promotes an empowered, result-driven, quality and team focused environment.
- Involvement in corporate sales events off-site and building strong relationships with external stakeholders.

**Who are you?**
- You are a highly motivated and engaged sales professional who thrives in a ‘sales through service’ culture
- You take pride in delivering outstanding service and delivery, in a fast-paced retail environment, by remaining positive, resilient, and accountable
- You put the customer first and are creative when approaching resolutions to customers’ needs

**Some travel to various Gold Coast kiosk stores will also be required**
