We now have an exciting opportunity for a **Sales Manager** to join the **Southport Mazda** team.

Our Sales Managers certainly have a seat at the leadership table. We work collaboratively and provide you with the tools and resources to help set you up for success. As a large and growing group, we know those with the right drive and ambition will be well placed to ignite their career towards senior leadership opportunities. This is a hands-on role where you will support your team by providing coaching, mentoring and leading by example. You will equally be responsible for the operational management of your sales team, including stocking, reporting and data analysis.

**What the role entails**:

- Establish, monitor and ensure long, and short term sales and gross profit objectives for both the department and individual sales team are met
- Continuing ongoing focus on stock management in keeping with group policy to maximise ROI
- Mentoring, training and coaching a sales team
- Set clear standards to ensure the Ultimate Customer Experience is achieved every time.
- Monitor and act on business management information and other key performance indicators to optimise new vehicle performance and profit opportunities

- Ability to contribute and lead the teams up-beat culture
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding negotiation, written and verbal skills
- Ability to set goals and targets along with leading a team to achieve targets
- Knowledge of motor dealership systems, Pentana and Dealer Socket will be an advantage
- A personable person who has outstanding customer handling skills
- Must possess sound knowledge of internet and selling skills required to maximise internet opportunities
