We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join the warehouse and logistic team.

The position will ensures effective, standardised and physical inventory controls are in place to improve inventory and warehouse systems and physical inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Support service quality improvements across the supply chain, minimizing loss and ensuring accurate inventory levels, in areas of influence or accountability
- Drive inventory optimisation programs
- Working closely with planning and operations teams to deliver best outcomes
- Drive down and contain inventory loss through stringent procedural compliance, training and support
- Provide input at WMA or divisional forums in matters relating to inventory control
- Support company Value Chain Excellence objectives and support implementations at a BU level
- Provide direction to and development to the warehouse and logistics team as well as material controllers and production team, to perform inventory control tasks
- In conjunction with the Warehouse and Logistics Manager and other stakeholders, support the WMA Stocktake Process, defining procedures, communicate requirements to workgroups and report back to the business on stocktake results
- Lead investigations where inventory discrepancy occurs and present root cause assessments to management. Assist the development of corrective action plans.
- Act as a support in SAP, providing training to the business on inventory control - transactional process and ensuing physical requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- SAP (or equivalent ERP system) in the areas of warehouse management
- Understanding of ERP processes for manufacturing and order processing
- Experience using MS Office
- Ability to respond to common enquiries or complaints from internal customers at business unit, WMA and Divisional level
