About the Role:
The content writer is a specialist that plays a key role within the Marketing Team, International Business, DE International, Department of Education.
The content writer creates engaging, SEO-optimized content for various platforms, supporting marketing strategies. They write stories that promote DEi's brand, products and services including newsletters, social media posts, brochures, and reports. The role involves managing communication projects, collaborating with key stakeholders, and contributing to marketing activities such as media relations, events, and partnerships. They help raise DE International's profile by developing an integrated communication strategy and producing meaningful written or visual content to engage the target audience and enhance visibility across multiple channels.
Responsibilities include:
Develop content to promote key International Student Program (ISP) products and service
Write and edit communications and marketing materials such as publications, enewsletters, online content, advertisements, speeches, media releases, briefing notes, and correspondence
Support program and campaign promotions for Homestay host recruitment, Study Tours, and Offshore (Recognised) schools and other initiatives
Consult with internal and external clients to create and advise on communication strategies
Participate in strategic planning to meet the department's marketing and communications objectives
This is a Temporary Part-time position (0.8 FTE) until 28 March 2025, then Full-time hours available.

About You:
Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:

Communicates with influence: Delivers clear, concise communication and excels in negotiation and presentations, engaging diverse audiences effectively
