Working for a global medical organisation with businesses and subsidiaries across APAC, US and EMEA. This is a newly defined HR BP role supporting the ANZ workforce and its leaders.

**Your new role**

This may be a large business however your new role be partnering with a smaller, SME style workforce of 100 employees across ANZ workforce. You will take on an autonomous Sydney based position and deliver all operational and strategic initiatives for the organisation. Reporting to the HR Director of APAC, you will be part of a regional matrix structured HR team with assistance from Centres of Excellence including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits and Learning & Development.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Talent management and development
- Onboarding and Office Boarding
- Employee relations and providing detailed local advice on Australian and New Zealand employment law.
- Performance management including annual performance an bonus reviews
- Leadership coaching
- Delivering training programs
- Monthly and annual reporting for HR insights and metrics for local leaders and regional HR
- Managing processes and policies
- HRIS Management and some HR administration when needed
- Delivery of strategic projects set by global and regional people strategies
- Driving engagement, culture and coaching business through future culture and organisational change programs
- You will also expected to be very hands-on, and be able to move from a basic operational piece of work, to a more strategic mindset depending on the day or situation
- Your key stakeholders will include the Country MD, Heads of Sales, Marketing and Finance.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You MUST have experience of working for a global or multi national ( MNC) company. This is essential for all involved.
- You will ideally have a wide breath of HR generalist skills
- And be adept at strategic project delivery and influencing leaders
- You will be flexible and won’t mind sometimes accommodating calls outside of normal hours due to time differences
- You will feel comfortable advising a white or blue collar employee all the way up to SLT
- You will understand and be sensitive to managing work and communication across multiple countries and cultures
- As this is a Sydney based stand-alone position you must thrive and be comfortable in this style of work
- Excellent reporting and systems skills are also needed including Excel ( Workday or another HRIS system would be needed )

- Full time hours will some requirements to work around different time zones so a flexible approach to work is needed
- Hybrid working - 3 in office, from home each week is current flexible working policy
- Free parking onsite
- Salary up to 130k base plus super plus performance related bonus and other benefits
- Location is lower North Shore, working at Head Office for Australia and New Zealand

**What you need to do now**

You MUST have local Australian HR experience due this position be a key Subject Matter Expert on ER, awards and fairwork when needed.
