About the role
The Member Support Officer(MSO) role reports to the Member Support Coordinator and is responsible for providing high-level administrative support for Tribunal Members.
**The MSO will**:
- Proactively and efficiently provide administrative services under the directions and guidance of the Member Support Team Leader, to deliver effective support to Tribunal Members for sensitive and complex legal matters.
- Work collaboratively across the broader Hearing Services teams, providing assistance where required.
- Contribute to team projects and service delivery initiatives that seek to improve processes and the quality of support provided to Tribunal Members and other business units.
- Fast-paced varied role with the opportunity to work with a wide range of people in a small team.

About you
**To ensure success in the role you will**:
- Highly organised, with good common sense and judgement to manage competing priorities, and flexible and adaptable to changing demands
- Strong word processing and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail
- Able to identify improvement opportunities in systems and processes to improve efficiency and drive change
- Possess well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills to build rapport and work effectively with colleagues across various departments
- Have the ability to plan and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment with good attention to detail
- Experienced in Microsoft Office and quick to familiarise yourself with new databases and systems
