Store Manager for Indian Supermarket

**Position Summary**
The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for managing the store’s daily operations, supervising staff, optimising stock and inventory control, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards. This is a full-time, permanent position required to support the business's operational and strategic goals.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties
- Ensuring that the store complies with occupational health and safety regulations
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- Formulating pricing policies and managing budgets
- Promoting and advertising products to increase sales
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly
- Maintaining records of stock levels, financial transactions, and employee performance
- Interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and appraising staff
- Monitoring sales performance and preparing reports for management
- Ensuring merchandise is clean, well-displayed, and replenished

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in a retail management role
- Diploma level qualifications in the related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience working with culturally diverse teams and customer bases
- Proven ability to manage inventory, budgets, and retail operations
- Understanding of South Asian grocery products is highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
