**Disability Support Worker**

Provides care, assistance, and encouragement to people with disabilities to help them live independently and participate fully in their communities.

The role involves supporting clients with daily living tasks, personal care, mobility, social activities, and achieving their individual goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with personal Care tasks such as showering, dressing, and toileting
- Support with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Help clients attend appointments, community activities, or social outings
- Encourage independence and build skills in areas such as communication, mobility, and self-care
- Monitor and document client progress and wellbeing
- Follow support plans and work collaboratively with families, carers, and health professionals

- Strong and clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, Flexible, and able to work independently or in a team
- Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of disability rights and person-centred support

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or similar
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and working with Children's Check
- Manual handling and infection control training ( Or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Drivers Licence
- Own Car
- Fully Comprehensive Car Insurance

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $41.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
