**About the Role**

The Associate Adviser position is a support role to the lead adviser. Working directly with one of the Perks Private Wealth (PPW) Directors, the Associate Adviser is responsible for proactively managing the advice delivery process from end to end.

An Associate Adviser is also known as a Junior Adviser. In this position, you will learn to develop effective strategies to build and protect client wealth and prepare quality, comprehensive and tax effective plans for our clients in areas including investment and superannuation.

Over time, the Associate Adviser will develop an excellent working knowledge of each client’s financial affairs to collaborate with clients and the PPW Director in adding value and optimising client outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Support Director/ Adviser in delivering financial advice to client base.
- Prepare for client review meetings, considering existing and new financial planning strategies and preparation of basic SOA’s for superannuation contributions, pension commencement and investment strategies.
- Utilise financial planning software (XPLAN) to produce cash flow and financial modelling scenarios for client review meetings and advice documents (Xtools+ preferred).
- Preparing Investment Recommendations, in collaboration with the Director/ Adviser.
- Manage ongoing advice and review tasks pre and post client meetings. Direct and monitor workflow as it relates to client advice, in consultation with the Client Service Manager (CSM).
- Respond to client queries, acting as a secondary point of contact with the CSM.
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients and provide required support.

**Skills and Experience**
Some of the skills, experience and attributes that you would bring to the role are:

- Completion or on track for completing of Diploma of Financial Planning (desirable)
- Experience with financial planning software e.g. Xplan (desirable)
- Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines.
- Experience in a professional services environment in a client focused role
