We're looking for Front Office Manager to join our team at Crowne Plaza Canberra, reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will champion our guest experiences and mentor our Front Office team.

**Your day to day**

You’ll lead the team to success, rolling up your sleeves and working side by side to deliver a superior guest experience. You'll take responsibility for compliance and quality, including the satisfaction of both our guests and staff - ensuring brand and company standards are maintained. You’ll focus on ensuring our team deliver authentic, memorable experiences for our guests while supporting and developing the team to drive results.

Following are some ideal day to day activities but not limited to
- Having authentic conversations with our guests to resolve their issues, queries or concerns
- Overseeing the Hotel operations in the absence of Senior Management
- Being the first point of contact for any critical emergency situations
- Leading the team to deliver results that positively impact guest experience and overall Hotel performance
- Focusing on team development to ensure our team are continuously learning and broadening their skills
- Managing and coaching your front office team to deliver memorable guest experiences and the warmest of welcomes
- Conducting regular front office inspections to ensure we’re making the right first impression
- Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
- Undertake all practical measures to identify assess, control and monitor workplace risks to health.
- Ensure implementation of corrective action arising from accident investigation and hazard reports.
- Ensure supervision of workplace health and safety aspects of work undertaken by staff.

**What we need from you**
- Experience in a similar role in a hotel environment
- Positive energy, eye for detail, and passion for delivering great guest experiences
- Ability to have genuine connections with guests and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication and organisational skills
- Team player with a collaborative approach to work
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, First Aid and CPR certification
