**Your new company**
Our client is a well renowned government organisation with operations across Australia. Due to the increase in workload, they are now looking to appoint an experienced General Insurance Specialist to join the team on an ongoing temporary assignment starting ASAP.

**Your new role**
- Managing the investigation and assessment of new and existing Domestic & Motor policies
- Work alongside third parties and internal departments in relation to closing and settling claims
- Analyse policy coverage and determine acceptance of claims
- Provide exceptional customer service, respond to general insurance queries within agreed timeframes and prepare written response on insurance matters.
- Contribute to new and ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with other team members and support management.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Australian Citizenship as it’s a government organisation
- Have experience in insurance or a contact centre environment
- Possess a fundamental understanding of Domestic and/or Motor Insurance products
- Be able to manage a large pipeline of work and meet KPIs
- Strong attention to detail, good relationship and time management skills
- Ability to display empathy is essential for this role
