**Your new role**
You will work closely with the Uniting Principal Researcher responsible for overseeing the tracking, and learning of Uniting’s two regionally located place-based programs - Firefly Bay & Basin and Becoming U. Your role will be to:

- Work with the Principal Researcher, the Community Impact Strategy Lead, and Project Leads, on developing and implementing a tracking and learning strategy for each site.
- Support the design, collection, and storage of data important to each program.
- Work with project teams on identifying important community level data around improving outcomes for young people.
- Support project teams in socialising and translating data across community stakeholder groups.

This is a 16 hour a week role, Sydney based with the option of working remotely from home, with occasional visits to Uniting offices and possibly to the regions we are working.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Team player
- Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data
- Able communicator - written, spoken and illustrative.
- Project and time management skills
- Capable of coaching and supporting our teams to collect and evaluate data.
- Self-motivated, able to initiate.
- Comfortable working from a distance and communicating on-line.
- Understanding of and experience in program monitoring, evaluation, and learning
- Understands and supports community led, place-based approaches
- Ability to prioritise tasks based on existing and emerging needs.
- Passionate about playing a key role in impactful community work making a measurable difference around key objectives in communities of need.
