**The Role**:
As an Interior Designer at House of Bamboo, you will play a pivotal role in
delivering tailored, sustainable design solutions for residential,
commercial, and urban projects. Leveraging your extensive experience
and technical skills, you will guide clients from concept to completion,
ensuring every project aligns with our values and exceeds expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Design & Development**:
- Create, plan, and design interior spaces in line with client visions and specifications.
- Develop mood boards, design plans, and 3D visualizations using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Photoshop.
- Incorporate sustainable materials, including bamboo, into innovative design concepts.
**Project Management**:
- Oversee interior design projects to achieve client requirements under strict deadlines and ensure compliance with building codes and sustainability standards.
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, invoices, and other administrative paperwork related to daily operations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure designs are implemented properly.
**Client Collaboration**:
- Work closely with clients, architects, builders, and other stakeholders to transform visions into reality.
- Offer design suggestions to clients, providing tailored solutions to maximize space and align with their lifestyle and needs within project constraints.
**Collaboration & Execution**:
- Work closely with a team of designers, engineers, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals to ensure a seamless implementation of designs.
- Drive the integration of sustainable practices in all aspects of the design process.
**About You**:
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional with a strong
foundation in architecture and interior design. Your ability to merge
functionality with aesthetics, while championing sustainability, will make
**Essential Skills & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Diploma in Interior Design.
- 3-5 years of experience in architecture, interior design, and project management across residential, commercial, and urban projects.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit Photoshop, and Enscape.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and compliance standards.
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and materials.
- A valid driver’s licence
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Experience working in both government and private sectors, with a focus on project development and urban planning.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
