**Job Overview**:
**The role**:
In your role as a Mortgage Broker you will be required to:

- Meet with clients to discuss their financial situation, needs, and objectives
- Conduct full assessment to determine clients’ eligibility for various mortgage products. This includes reviewing credit reports, bank statements, payslips, income statements, tax returns, financial statements and other financial documents
- Provide advice on mortgage options and financial products that best meet their requirements
- Keep up to day with the latest mortgage products, interest rates etc and provide clients with information on all loan options recommended
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Use Nexus to complete all compliance activities
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in Nexus
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Supporting clients post loan settlement with annual reviews and on an ad hoc needs basis
- Train the loan processing team members on all aspects of credit and how to execute the individual steps necessary for their job
- Assist create/review/update loan processing workflow templates in the CRM

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in the Australian mortgage industry
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
- Other university qualifications in Finance or Business Administration highly valued
- Extensive experience with AOL, Connective Nexus, Quickli is essential
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a client-focused approach
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $73,500.00 - $78,000.00 per year
