**About the role**

If you're looking to grow within the finance industry we will provide the in depth training for you to assist and work alongside a team of experienced and qualified mortgage brokers. This position will be a key role as The Loan Room continues to grow. You will be working with the broker, client, and our support team to manage the deal flow from initial consultation through to lodgement and beyond. This role is the perfect position for someone who has a passion for finance with a thorough understanding of the loan writing process.

**Job tasks & responsibilities**:

- Managing client home loan processing from lead to lodgement
- Researching and liaising with a range of lenders
- Analyse and verify supporting documents
- Assist the broker with ordering valuations, completing scenarios, pricing, and servicing calculators
- Regular client communication on updates and lender requests
- Managing deal flow of new and existing loans
- Meeting KPIs from prospecting to lodgement to file quality
- Loan packaging and maintaining compliance
- Follow checklists and requirements in detail at every stage
- Assisting team members as required
- Additional 1-2 days a week supporting our core administration team with loan processing from lodgement to approval

**Skills and experience**
- 1 year experience in processing of mortgages within a brokerage
- Articulate, enthusiastic and friendly
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to self-motivate and have a positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Good team work, communication skills and ability to work in a time pressured environment
- Phone skills
- Must demonstrate alignment with our values

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
