Administration Officer

This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication daily and externally with various departments and agencies and operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position whilst maintaining open channels of communication.
Oral Health services are provided to patient groups that meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland. Adult services are provided at clinics located at Gympie, Noosa, Nambour, Kawana, Caloundra, and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital Dental Clinic. Oral Health also runs a Call Centre located at Caloundra. School based services are provided at fixed clinics located at Caloundra, Maroochydore, and Nambour and at 14 mobile dental clinics distributed across the HHS.
Service delivery may require this role to work across other locations within the SCHHS: Gympie, Noosa, Nambour, Kawana, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Caloundra, and Oral Health Call Centre (OHCC)
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Provide high quality confidential administration support to the team.
- Act as a primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication.
- Screen calls and re-direct where appropriate, answer routine queries and prioritise calls.
- Coordinate appointments for various meetings with relevant staff on behalf of the team and perform secretariat function for relevant meetings if required.
- Manage and organise all aspects of the office requirements including stationery and office equipment orders, equipment maintenance and repairs and car bookings.
