CheckHero, a reputable commercial safety compliance company in Melbourne, is on the lookout for a talented and self-motivated Fire Safety (ESM) Compliance Inspector to join our growing team. With a nationwide base of commercial clients, we are dedicated to ensuring the fire safety of Australian properties.

**About the Role**:
We are searching for a driven individual to become part of our expanding compliance team. As a Safety Compliance Inspector, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of properties across Melbourne. Your role will involve visiting clients' building sites, conducting audits, and creating comprehensive building AESMR reports.

**What You'll Need**:

- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
- Basic IT and smartphone knowledge
- Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- The ability to take initiative and deliver consistent results
- A background in Essential Safety Measures is a plus, but not essential
- A valid driver's license, national police check, and working with children check are required

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Schedule and coordinate inspection appointments with clients and tenants
- Maintain your schedule and deliver quality results
- Produce detailed inspection reports on-site
- Collaborate with clients and tenants to address concerns, explain compliance requirements, and maintain strong business relationships
- Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry knowledge

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fire Safety Inspector: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
