Peoplescout are excited to be partnering with CBC Facilities Maintenance, at a critical point in their growth phase. CBC is a trusted provider of integrated facilities management, asset management and construction services throughout Australia.
CBC have an exciting full-time opportunity available for Fire Technicians to join the growing Melbourne team. Due to the signing of a significant large scope of work, there is an urgent need to secure the long-term employment of a team of skilled Fire Technicians, to support school properties in and around the Melbourne area. The head office is based in Kirlow Park and this role will involve site visits to school locations that sit across both Noth east and North west Melbourne.

**About the role**:
**Completing all types of preventative maintenance & repairs on**:

- Fire Extinguishers & Blankets
- Fire Detection & Occupant Warning Systems
- Fire Hose Reels
- Fire & Smoke Doors
- Means of Egress
- Fire Hydrants
- Exit & Emergency Lights
- Fault find and action problem solving solutions
- Ensure the continuation of the maintenance contracts by providing exceptional customer service and remaining vigilant to potential repairs, upgrade work and refurbishments
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement

**About you**:
In this role, we are looking for someone who is proactive and enjoys working autonomously, as well as the following attributes:

- Previous experience working as a fire technician or fire safety officer
- Ideally you are Certificate II or III higher in Fire Protection Inspection and/or Testing [desirable]
- Excellent communication skills, thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow work schedules
- Extensive industry knowledge
- Demonstrates excellence in relation to safety and awareness and of WHSEQ procedures

- VBA Registration
- WWC check (or willing to obtain)
