Easy Authoring is seeking an experienced Finance & Administration Support Officer to support in the financial and funding management, monitoring, and forecasting of budgets.

**Purpose of the role**:
The role provides support in the financial and funding management, monitoring, and forecasting of budgets and the preparation and analysis of financial reports. And responsible for administrative and operational support.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Assist in the management of the budget and the provision of monthly forecasts, analysis and advice to support decision making and ensure best practice financial management services and systems are implemented.
- Undertake office accounting and administrative functions to support the operations across the accounts, monies received, office assets and reporting functions.
- Co-ordinate and oversee the purchase and maintenance of equipment and stores. Including travel and accommodation to support the provision of quality services within budget.
- Assist in the investigation, analysis and reconciliation of financial reports including employee related expenses and general expenses to support the effective operation.
- Understanding the technical and procedural aspects of financial transactions, business, processes, and transaction processing in the SAP system.
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports and training of staff in administration and accounting procedures to support the provision of quality services within budget.
- Assist in managing financial year-end processes including prepayments and accruals as well as preparing annual returns to ensure that year-end processes are finalised effectively and on time.
- Accurately process transactions in accordance with current finance procedures, regulations, and policy.

**Essential requirements**:

- Relevant qualification in a financial or accounting discipline, or relevant years’ experience.
- Government experience is mandatory
