**Responsibilities**:
Field Scopers with Rod and Rope experience

These are great opportunities to work for an established but growing and innovative company operating in the fast-moving telecommunications sector. CiS International is an Australian company involved in communications infrastructure projects in Australia and the Asian region.

We are currently looking for Field Scopers ideally with Rod and Rope experience to join us to undertake field assessment and scoping to support the contract deliverables within a field network environment. To be successful you will have previous experience in the Telecommunications Industry.

The role requires you to:

- Undertake site inspections and environmental assessments and produce professional survey documentation covering internal and external plant and equipment
- Assess the fitness of ducts and pits in order to meet major clients’ criteria.
- Read and understand written or electronic drawings and plans for internal and external plant and equipment
- Record information in real time through tablet devices and manual techniques
- Provide direction to a rodding and roping crew or undertake the rodding and roping activity, with a particular focus on health and safety work practices

Ideally, you will have:

- Several years sound experience in telecommunications-related surveys and/or pit and pipe design work for one of the main Australian carrier networks
- A good working knowledge of internal and external telecommunications equipment
- A current Australian driver’s license & reliable transport (desirable)

In addition, you:

- Present in a highly professional manner with well-developed written and oral communications skills, possess personal discretion, judgement and interpersonal skills
- Are self-motivated and a problem solver with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Will be able to work autonomously and be innovative in a high demand role while also working within a team to achieve the best results possible for the customer
- Have the ability to delegate and direct workflow within a small-medium crew
- Are flexibility and able to adapt to change quickly and to think technically for robust design solutions
- Have an understanding of construction through to installation and maintenance of infrastructure
- Have good knowledge of copper and fibre networks as well as pit and pipe networks

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
