About the role
Manage the operational delivery of medication management services for multiple pharmacy teams within the Ipswich Hospital to deliver efficient services consistent with QH strategic intents, relevant statutory requirements, policies and procedures, and professional and ethical guidelines and standards.
About you
- Demonstrated use of advanced communication and conflict management skills to negotiate agreement within a clinical pharmacy team and with external work unit managers, senior clinicians, and other stakeholders to implement service improvement and ensure effective cooperation within and across work units.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and operationally manage clinical pharmacy services across a variety of settings and lead the development of a highly capeable and efficient pharmacy team.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the division and actively participate in initiating, developing, and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of clinical pharmacy services and optimise patient medication outcomes
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
