**The Opportunity**
For over 20 years, **WYP Dental **has been a thriving and beloved family dental practice that has been serving the local communities of Box Hill and Preston. Our philosophy is to combine professional service with a kind and caring approach, and this has become an integral part of our staff culture.
- Part time dental reception/dental assistant position (with potential to become full time). We are looking for someone who can work together for us in the long term.
- Duties include dental reception/clerical duties (e.g. making and answering phone calls, coordinating patient appointments and treatment plans, receiving payments, building patient rapport), chair side assistance for general dental and orthodontic treatment
- Certificate III in dental assisting highly regarded
- Those wishing to start a career in dental assisting will also be considered for traineeship to complete their certification.

**What are we looking for?**
- **High attention to detail **and **willingness to learn new skills**:

- Excellent communication skills with **fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese essential. Please write a short introduction about yourself in Chinese in your cover letter to be eligible for this position.**:

- Ability to maintain outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and team even under pressure
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliability with strong time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Flexible with working hours (e.g. weekends, late nights up to 7pm)，availability to work on Sundays in Preston is a plus
- Comfortable with travelling to Preston and Box Hill
- Certificate III or IV in dental assisting is highly regarded

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
