
Accounts & Administration Officer

The primary roles of the Accounts & Administration Officer are to perform a range of routine accounts and human resource administrative tasks to support the functioning of the business.
Typical accounting processes include payment and tracking of accounts payable and staff expense claims, generating customer invoices, performing month-end accounting closes, preparation of management reports for the lodgement of BAS and annual financial reporting, performing online banking transactions and the preparation of cash-flow and other management report.
Human resource administrative processes include processing of monthly payroll, calculation and distribution of sales commissions, processing of quarterly staff performance bonuses, preparation of offer letters for new prospective employees, setup of new employee’s in the accounting and banking systems and making payments to superannuation funds.
The role requires a high level of accountability, attention in detail, pro-activeness, maturity, responsibility and the ability to work under limited supervision.
- **Essential Skills**:_
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Xero accounting software, or similar
- Experience using online banking tools to perform banking transactions
- Disciplined and highly organised
- Pro-active and self-initiative
- Proven advanced skills in MS Word/Excel/Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administration skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable
- **Desirable**:_
- Qualifications in book-keeping/accounting and/or payroll processing
- A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
- Ability to work after hours if required
Reporting to the Finacial manger you will be a self-starter with an excellent track record in managing a broad range of accounting and human resource management functions. This is a role for someone who is ambitious to grow with the organization and take on additional responsibility with a 'can-do' attitude.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
