Machining and Fabrication - Operate a variety of machine tools to fabricate, shape, or repair machinery components with high precision according to technical specifications and drawings.
- Assembly and Installation of Machinery - Assemble mechanical components and machinery by fitting parts, aligning them correctly, and ensuring all components are installed properly to function as required.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting - Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues, identify root causes, and repair or replace faulty components in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
- Precision Measurement and Quality Control - Use measuring instruments to check dimensions and tolerances of components. Ensure that all parts meet strict quality and engineering standards before being approved for use in production.
- Safety and Compliance - Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment. Follow safe operating procedures, ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn, and report hazards or safety concerns immediately.
- Documentation and Reporting - Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on machinery and equipment. Document time spent on tasks, parts used, and any safety issues encountered for future reference.
- Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization - Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, machine reliability, and product quality. Recommend changes in processes or tools to enhance production output or reduce downtime.
- Collaboration and Support - Work closely with engineers, production teams, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Provide technical expertise and advice on mechanical matters and assist in training and mentoring less experienced staff or apprentices.

Pay: $73,150.00 per year
