We are looking for a passionate and organised **Junior Club Netball Coordinator** to oversee the netball program for our junior school students.

The **Junior Club Netball Coordinator** will be responsible for managing the development and coordination of the Junior Club netball program. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong knowledge of netball, a passion for working with young students, and the organisational skills to manage a successful school sports club.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the coordination and management of the Junior netball program, including training sessions, competitions, and events
- Design and implement age-appropriate training programs to develop skills, teamwork, and a love for netball among junior students
- Provide coaching and mentorship to students, fostering a positive and encouraging environment
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and school leadership to communicate schedules, updates, and progress of the program
- Coordinate team selections and ensure fair play, inclusion, and equal participation for all students
- Organise and manage logistics for netball matches, including transport, equipment, and uniforms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local netball associations and external coaches
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training and competitions, adhering to the school’s policies and guidelines

**Essential Qualifications and Skills**:

- Strong experience and knowledge of netball, with previous coaching experience (preferably at a junior level)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with young students, parents, and staff
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, team coordination, and event planning.
- A passion for sports education and fostering skill development in young athletes
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Paid Blue Card
- Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., Netball Australia Foundation Coaching Course or equivalent)

Desirable:

- Previous experience working in a school or junior sports club environment.
- Familiarity with local netball competitions and school sports networks.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes, while promoting a healthy balance between sport and academics.

Must be able to support the Anglican ethos of the St Hilda’s School, follow our Code of Conduct and be willing to give permission for the School to submit their details for screening with the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
