**Our client**:
Our client is one of the leading insurance building repair specialists in Australia. They hold national contracts in relation to catastrophic weather events and specialise in escape of liquids claims, impact damage and floods.

Due to business growth, they are looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join their National Safety Team in Perth. Some travel will be required however you will be given a vehicle.

You will work closely with the National Safety Manager to assist with safety nationally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete reporting on WHS performance and provide WHS advice to trades, Building Supervisors, Construction Managers, and the Managing Director
- Identify WHS training requirements for staff and subcontractors
- Assist with assessment of subcontractor documentation and safety inductions
- Conduct safety inductions & toolbox talks with staff and subcontractors
- Contribute to and comply with all statutory legislation including the relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures applicable to this client

**About you**:

- Certificate IV or higher in WHS, white card & first aid cert
- Proven track record in a similar role and experience in the construction industry
- Excellent communication skills, time management, organisation, people skills and a can do, energetic attitude
- High-level computer skills across mobile devices, repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs
- A broad knowledge and understanding of the relevant WHS Acts and Regulations, Compliance Codes and Codes of Practices, Australian Standards and Guidance Materials
