**The opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our high-performing Finance team at Culture Kings.

This role will see you working in a small team while collaborating with the wider Culture Kings Operational teams and retail stores to support all revenue accounting aspects in accordance with a publicly listed company. As the company continues to grow, you will add value by being proactive & opportunistic in identifying and implementing continuous SOX and compliance improvements within your role.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage the accurate and timely recording of sales transactions, including taxes, customer receipts and related charges
- Manage bank payment gate reconciliations
- Manage transaction exceptions checking and ensuring that tickets are raised with IT to request fixes for any systematic issues
- Complete monthly reconciliations and uploading into FloQast each month
- Manage accounts receivable for wholesale customers
- Assist customer service requests in handling customer refunds via payment portals
- Manage reconciliations covering property guarantees and clearing accounts
- Assist in organising property guarantees
- Monitor and help implement controls for relevant areas to ensure they are operating effectively
- Stay up to date with changes and new payment methods emerging in local markets
- Complete other ad hoc tasks requested by the Senior Financial Accountant

**Your skills & experience**:

- 3 years plus in a similar role
- Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in Business / Commerce / Accounting
- Retail & eCommerce experience is an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail
- Highly organised with an ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands
- Other favourable skills: Domo, SQL
