STAR dentistry, Pyrmont is looking for a temporary receptionist and welcoming face to the business at our front desk, 5 days per week, for 5 weeks initially with a possibility of staying on afterwards within the company.

We are looking for someone that is bubbly, confident, well presented, and most importantly who LOVES their job.

We are a well established practice that covers all aspects of general dentistry, through to cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic injectables, orthodontics and implant surgery.

Punctuality, professionalism in conduct, and high level organisational skills are a must.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Meeting and Greeting Patients
- Answering the phone to take bookings, and converting price shopping/possible patients by explaining dental treatments and processes.
- Communication between staff members
- Taking EFTPOS and Hicaps payments
- Making phone calls to patients and suppliers
- Scheduling the dentists books to be productive and full
- Recalls and patient reactivation
- Ordering and receiving stock
- Meeting with Product Reps
- Morning huddles
- Maintaining the reception and office area
- General administration, filing, reporting, paperwork tasks and extension of the owner
- Internal point of communication for staff

The hours are

Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm

Friday 9am-5pm

The position is an important role in the business and as such, high levels of reliability responsibility will be expected.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Perfect telephone English (preferred)
