**FIFO Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Technician | 2:2 Roster | Orelia Mine Site**

**Ready to level up your FIFO career with a company that values your experience and invests in your growth**? Emeco is hiring a **Leading Hand - Heavy Diesel Technician** for a permanent full-time position on our **2:2 FIFO roster from Perth to the Orelia Mine Site (just 80km NE of Leinster).**

- **Hourly rates up to $77.00 an hour + 12% Super on all hours**:

- **Hours per shift**:12.5
- **2:2 FIFO from Perth**:2-hour direct flight and flight options from Busselton or interstate will also be considered.

**What you'll be doing**
- Leading day-to-day maintenance on Emeco’s fleet of Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu machines
- Supporting rental fleet servicing and breakdowns as needed
- Maintaining safety and compliance to all HSE policies and site procedures
- Working closely with site teams and stakeholders to deliver uptime targets and operational goals
- Driving a strong team culture that values safety, reliability, and performance

**What you bring to the team**
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter (Australian-recognised)
- Proven post-trade experience with large-scale mining equipment
- Leadership or supervisor experience on open cut mine sites
- HR Driver’s Licence (preferred)
- High-risk work licence (preferred - we also provide training)
- A strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and the ability to lead from the front

**Fleet you'll work on includes**
- Caterpillar: D10T, 16M, 789C/D, 777D, 992G/K
- Hitachi: EX1200-7, EX2600-7
- Liebherr: R9400
