FIFO Leading Hand – Heavy Diesel Technician | 2:2 Roster | Orelia Mine Site

2:2 FIFO from Perth – 2-hour direct. Flight options from Busselton or interstate will also be considered

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading day-to-day maintenance on Emeco's fleet of Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu machines
  • Supporting rental fleet servicing and breakdowns as needed
  • Maintaining safety and compliance to all HSE policies and site procedures
  • Working closely with site teams and stakeholders to deliver uptime targets and operational goals
  • Driving a strong team culture that values safety, reliability, and performance

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter (Australian-recognised)
  • Proven post-trade experience with large-scale mining equipment
  • Leadership or supervisor experience on open cut mine sites
  • HR Driver's Licence (preferred)
  • High-risk work licence (preferred – we also provide training)
  • A strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and the ability to lead from the front

  • Caterpillar: D10T, 16M, 789C/D, 777D, 992G/K
  • Hitachi: EX1200-7, EX2600-7
  • Liebherr: R9400
