**About the role**
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our leadership team in the role of Transport Supervisor. As a Transport Supervisor, you will effectively lead and manage your assigned team to meet safety, people, operational, customer and financial performance expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage & supervise the performance of the daily Transport operations to meet service targets safely and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Liaise with NSW Transport Teams, 3PL's and DC Operations teams of progress and status of loads, schedules and strategies.
- Updating the Transport Management team on a real-time basis of any operational / service concerns or non-compliance.
- Actively seek out and implement cost saving or efficiency improvement initiatives within the NSW transport operating model.
- Liaising with appropriate personnel to achieve adherence to curfews, cross-docking and top up loads.
- Overseeing the allocation of loads to meet store requirements and ensure on-time delivery to our customers.

We’re seeking the following skills and experience:

- Have extensive experience in Transport / Despatch / Warehousing or DC’s
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and managing teams to meet objectives
- Strong planning and problem solving skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with Transport providers, DC management and customers
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as WMS, TMS and TACTICS
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft suite
