Equities IT Product Manager

Sydney- Ancillary Areas- Contract or TemporaryOur client is a leading Investment Bank seeking an IT Infrastructure professional to work in their Equity Markets Trading division to assist with integrating and migration of IRESS technology for a 12 month contract
**Responsibilities**
- This is a both a technology & business facing role
- Product owner of IRESS from a technology development perspective
- Manage the environments migration to ASX Cinnober
- Transition our client base from IRESS IOSc to IRESS IOS+
- Evaluate & maintain the environment with the latest IRESS releases
- Enhance the client trading experience by releasing new trading functionalities onto the platform
- Maintain a tight integration of the platform with our internal trade plant
- Maintain internal relationships with Risk, Compliance and Governance teams
**Key Competencies/Skills**
- Experienced in integrating IRESS with proprietary firm systems using the FIX trading protocol
- Must have a sound understand of FIX to assist in third-level IRESS support
- A thorough understanding of IRESS IOSc & IRESS IOS+
- Exposure to IRESS components: FIXIT, FIX+TI, FIX+ Engines, BRIDGE, ASXTI, CXATI, FIX Servlets
- Knowledge of their Institutional trading suite
- Exposure to the IRESS Strategy Platform
- Exposure to IRESS Bookings & Confirms
- A thorough understanding of the Australian trading exchanges & their protocols
- Experience in UNIX environments
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience in maintaining an IRESS Institutional installation
- 5 -10 years of exposure to Equities trading in both a front and middle-office technical capacity
- Self-sufficient, organized and with good initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication and relationship management skills
