Sydney- Investment Banking- Permanent**Responsibilities**:

- Reconcile trading accounts
- Work with program traders, cash dealers and Clicks operators to ensure trading system parity
- Co-ordinate and facilitate resolution of trade discrepancies (liaison with desk, IT)
- Complete Equity and Derivative trade bookings
- Work with program desk on setting up / facilitating domestic and international trading details, including liaison with offshore offices
- Australian equity product set up
- Become involved in projects / strategic work as required
- Remain flexible in regard to products dealt with ( ie FX, Fixed Income, Listed and OTC Derivatives)
- Collate monthly management reporting data

**Essential Skills / Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years direct equity Middle Office experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
- Understanding of what aspects of the trade cycle impact Profit & Loss and Market Risk, eg. corporate actions
- Excellent root cause analysis and attention to detail
- Ability to own and work through problems and initiate actions required to resolve
- Ability to confidently deal with Front Office and work well under pressure
- Understanding of the Stock Borrow / Loan business would be a bonus
