**About the Role**:
As an Associate Data Analyst within the Data Analytics and Intelligence Unit, you will support EPA's goal of becoming a preventative, targeted, risk-based regulator. You will join a dynamic team as it grows and matures, and use your advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to uncover insights to support evidence-based decision making at all levels of the organisation.
EPA Associate Data Analysts work on delivering data analytics insights and reporting to a broad range of internal stakeholders.
**The main objectives of the role are to**:
- develop insightful data analysis reporting, contributing to EPA's data analytics capability;
- demonstrate best practice analytics procedures across EPA;
- support stakeholders' data analysis needs.
**To be successful you will have**:
- demonstrated experience in data science (statistics, modelling, pattern or spatial analysis) using R;
- demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information and data sets from various sources to generate insights;
- ability to work in a team to deliver data insights.
