Named for the Owner/Executive Chef's grandparents, Frank & Connie's Kitchen has garnered a strong local community and tourist following in the busy Daylesford restaurant scene. We are a small venue with a homely, nostalgic feel with a punchy and local produce driven blackboard menu. Owned and run by an experienced hospitality couple, we put a lot of love into our venues and aim for our guests and staff to feel the same.

Frank & Connie's Kitchen is also the big sibling to our newest venture, Harry's Hepburn. Opening in March 2020, Harry's is the complimentary cafe/casual diner to our restaurant; and being located just 200m down the road, allows us to broaden our offering to our guests.

The Role

We are excited to be able to offer an experienced waiter a long term position within our friendly and hard working team at our flagship venue. This role encompasses all aspects of a FOH position, reporting to the Owner/Head Chef and FOH Managers with room to grow for the right person.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

- Answering questions regarding menu items, allergies, ordering suggestions, wine and beverage selections
- Ensuring each guest is made to feel welcome and has a great dining experience
- Making cocktails and drinks
- Serving dishes and beverages to tables
- Clearing tables
- Processing customer payments
- Calling away dockets and ensuring a well timed experience for the guest within their seating time
- Communicating with the kitchen staff and other FOH staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Cleaning, set up and pack down
- Adhering to our COVID safe plan
- Taking reservations and phone inquiries
- Making tea and coffees

About you
- Minimum two years experience restaurant floor experience
- Basic cocktail making skills
- 'Can do' attitude with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Fantastic customer service skills
- Friendly and open personality
- Passion for food and wine
- Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to use POS and Reservation systems
- Availability for evenings & weekends
