About Us

Opening in March 2020, Harry's is the complimentary cafe/casual diner to our restaurant Frank & Connie's Kitchen, and being located just 200m down the road allows us to broaden our offering to our guests. Named for our much loved chicken Harry, Harry's Hepburn has garnered a strong local community and tourist following as a breakfast & brunch destination. We are a fresh country style venue with a homely, nostalgic feel featuring a large indoor dining area and two outdoor dining areas. Our menu is punchy and local produce driven with an emphasis on ‘house made’; we even bake all our own sourdough. Run by an experienced hospitality couple, we put a lot of love into our venue and aim for our guests and staff to feel the same.

The Role

We are excited to be able to offer an enthusiastic waiter a long term position within our friendly and hard working team. This role encompasses all aspects of a FOH position, reporting to the Owners and Venue Manager with room to grow for the right person.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

- Answering questions regarding menu items, allergies, ordering suggestions
- Taking customer orders
- Ensuring each guest is made to feel welcome and has a great dining experience
- Making smoothies, juices & cocktails
- Serving dishes and beverages to tables
- Clearing tables
- Processing customer payments
- Communicating with the kitchen staff and other FOH staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Cleaning, set up and pack down
- Taking reservations and phone inquiries
- Making tea and coffees

About you
- Fantastic customer service skills
- 'Can do' attitude with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Friendly and open personality
- Passion for food
- Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to use POS and Reservation systems
- Availability for weekends and holiday periods
