About the role
In the role of Advisor (Portfolio Reporting), you will prepare reports and advice relating to the department's Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP), including related information for state and federal budgetary processes, Estimates Committee Hearings, and whole-of-government reporting requirements.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Investigate and analyse program data and information, prepare capital employment estimates, and prepare timely and accurate advice or fact-checking for ad hoc requests for various audiences (such as parliamentary questions, media enquiries, ministerial briefing notes, external presentations and internal departmental advice). This includes maintaining internal team registers and record-keeping through monitoring approved advice and correspondence.
- Assist in producing routine (e.g. monthly, quarterly, annual) and ad hoc reconciliations, reports and dashboards, including assisting with the department's monthly Transport Infrastructure Portfolio performance dashboard and the whole-of government Capital Program performance report.
- Support and pursue improvements in reporting, TMR systems and business improvements, through assisting with data analytics, planners, guidelines and procedures (including creating process documents), requests for change and user testing in TMR systems.
- Assist in preparing input, analysis and quality reviews for the QTRIP and the State Budget documentation, including Budget Paper 3 - Capital Statement (BP3), Regional Action Plans (RAPs) and Service Delivery Statement (SDS), as well as TMR's Annual Report.
- Provide support during program review periods, including assisting in preparing reports and baselining monthly budgeted expenditure flows in TMR's program management system, 3PCM. Monitor projects in 3PCM for data quality and action changes where required.
