**Assistant in Nursing / PCA**

**The Role**:
Patient Care Assistant involving:

- Assisting patients with showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, personal and oral hygiene
- Transferring and moving of patients using various hoists
- Transporting patients around facility
- Assisting patients with eating
- Ensuring patients needs are met in a timely manner
- Strict adherence to PPE, site safety and hygiene standards
- Assisting nurses where possible

**Experience - Qualifications essential**
- Cert III Aged Care or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months previous experience within the healthcare sector
- Own car and licence
- Current police clearance - valid within 12 months
- Must have influenza vaccine and covid vaccinations x3
- Mask fit training induction
- Hand hygiene certificate
- Manual handling
