**Our Service**:
We provide a safe place and offer support and services to children aged 0-11 years and their families & carers, focused on improving mental health and social & emotional wellbeing.
- We have 3 programs for mild to moderate presentations
- We also have a therapy dog (named Boston) on site
All aspects of the service are aimed at increasing secure parent-child attachments, strengthening parenting skills and knowledge of child development (cognitive, social and emotional) and strategies to enhance wellbeing.

- Based in Paddington
- Full-time or Part-time negotiable (minimum of 3 days preferred) and Permanent
- Paying on HPSS Level 3 (above award payment for highly experienced clinicians) plus Super
- Leave loading at 17.5%

**Role overview**:
As part of the multidisciplinary team, the Clinician will provide focussed psychological strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of the children and families accessing services within a community setting. As well as working with relevant service systems to respond appropriately to their mental health and developmental needs.
This role involves centre based service delivery as well as outreach work.
**Requirements**:
- Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist OR Occupational Therapist (with mental health accreditation) OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
- Demonstrated experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, ideally with children aged 0-11 and families experiencing mental health disorders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively plan and coordinate individualised psychosocial interventions to meet the needs of children and families with a mental illness based on a case formulation approach
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality assessment and evidence-based psychological interventions, within a stress-vulnerability and recovery framework.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously while being able to effectively work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to relate to children and families in a manner which is relevant and appropriate to their presenting needs and level of functioning and provide services in a recovery orientated manner
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving and negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with team members, other professionals and outside agencies
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
- Full Drivers License
