Your role will involve:
- taking a gentle, caring approach to oral health, offering holistic treatment and education for every generation
- creating a trusting partnership with each patient, ensuring they feel genuinely cared for and allowing us to tailor their treatment to their individual needs & comfort level.
- a focus on preventive and periodontal care including use of EMS Airflow prophylaxis system (training will be provided if needed)
- maintaining accurate charting and detailed records keeping
- use of digital radiography, including CBCT (training will be provided)
- collecting orthodontic treatment records including photos and digital 3D scanning
- supporting the dentist by ensuring patients fully understand their treatment options and feel confident moving forward
- ensuring a safe environment for every patient by strictly adhering to all infection control protocols for equipment cleaning and maintenance
Qualities needed for this role:
- Demonstrated professional maturity and exceptional communication skills
- Skilled at working independently and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient time management
- Able to help patients feel informed and confident by clearly explaining preventative care and their treatment options
- Foster a cooperative and respectful environment by communicating and supporting colleagues on both the clinical and support teams
- Ability to work unassisted for hygiene (chairside assistance for charting and restorative treatment with roaming assistance for changeovers)
- Proactive in learning new skills and collaborating with other clinicians in the team
- Participation in ongoing staff training and meetings when scheduled
